Nonstop flights from major eastern U.S. cities such as New York, Atlanta and Miami are just 3.5 hours or less, with several major airlines offering regular service to the islands. Some smaller
airlines also offer flights to the islands, as well as cargo carriers which bring in, and take out, larger or special shipments. A number of major
